The Frederick Ball site located
in the 8th & Elm Street area in Quincy IL was named for a young
black soldier who fought valiantly in the Spanish American War. The
40 units at the Frederick Ball site, opened in 1942 and was later expanded
with 10 additional units at 9th and Lind Street and 5 more units at
the 6th & Cherry street. |
